Laney's Indoor Air Quality Solutions
High Efficiency Air Filters
Get the facts. High efficiency filters such as the SpaceGuard offer an easy, high filtration efficient solution. They are easy to install and replace. They provide a MERV 10 rating on air filtration.
Electronic Air Cleaners
Get the facts. Electronic Air Cleaners can capture up to 98% of airborne particles from the air passing through the filter. Unlike portable air cleaners, electronic air cleaners work to clean the air in the entire home, not just in one room. They are compatible with virtually any forced air heating and air conditioning system.
Humidifiers
Get the facts. Dry air may cause dry skin and chapped lips, static electricity, and damage to floors, woodwork and furniture. Winter- time relative humidity in the home can reach 15%. That’s drier than the Sahara Desert! In duct humidifiers can help. They replenish humidity in the air in a safe, water vapor form (no mist or droplets). They include easy to use controls that mount on the wall or duct.
Ultra-Violet Lights
Get the facts. Air cleaners do a fantastic job of trapping airborne pollutants, but Ultraviolet Germicidal Lights actually helps destroy them by penetrating down to the microbial DNA. They are mounted near your indoor comfort system’s indoor coil. Small lamps direct UV light to a potential spot of fungal and microbial growth. Then once activated, the UV light goes to work cleaning the indoor coil. As part of a complete system, the UV lights improve indoor air quality.
Ventilation Systems
Get the facts. Using fans to import and filter fresh outdoor air into the home and export stale air and pollutants, Heat Recovery Ventilators (HRVs) transfer heat while Energy Recovery Ventilators (ERVs) transfer heat and moisture. These air exchange type systems can come with either standard or automatic control options for flexibility and increased comfort.
